This is something that has been on my mind for quite sometime, and now that gas prices have risen to almost $4.00 a gallon I feel the need to speak on a few things. First and foremost the U.S. Government is not going to stop the oil industry from continuing to legally gouge us. The same way they are doing with the major drug companies gouging us on prescription cost.
It is time that we as citizens take an active roll in getting some sort of financial relief. The only way to do that is to take control of the economy ourselves thru entrepreneurialism. It is a shame that we sit back and look at the economy dwindle to the point wear we as American citizens have to have a part time job, just to earn enough money to get gas to go to our full time job.
It is also sad that we as Americans do not take the time to think of ingenious ways to support each other in entrepreneurial efforts. This does not apply to everyone but to quite a few. We will take a joke, prayers, porno and everything else you could possibly imagine and pass it along as a forward to everyone in our email address book, but we won’t dare even look at a business opportunity.
I understand this in totality, because just like you I have been in the same shoes. When if ever, will we change? Will we see that maybe this may be a blessing as opposed to a curse? When if ever, will we come out of financial bondage if we do not take steps to gain financial independence? These are the question I ask myself on a daily basis, only to hear the same people who are complaining about the gas prices and health care cost soar, do nothing to change their situations
Change will not occur unless you put into motion a positive action. About 3 weeks ago I saw a youtube video about the movie titled “Pay It Forward”. (You can see this by going to youtube.com and putting Pay It Forward in the search box) The whole premise of the movie is to help 3 people who are in dire need of help, and for them not to be allowed to pay you back. They in turn have to find three people, and help them just as they were help by you.
The only way to overcome the oil company gouging is to be in a position where it doesn’t matter how much they charge for a gallon of gas because at whatever cost you will be able to afford it. You don’t hear the wealthy complaining of the gas a health care cost. Why? Simply because it is not and issue due to the fact that they can afford it. The simply answer is, position yourself in the economy where you can afford it.
I don’t care whether you are an Amway, Mary Kay, Avon, or whatever home based business you may be involved in. Leverage yourself into a position to be independent enough to grow as large as you want to be. People talk about all of the above MLM companies and call them pyramid schemes and plenty of other names. The one thing that all of these companies / pyramid schemes have in common are that they do not determine your earning potential you do. When you are hired at a particular job, from the very first day all the way up to the day you retire, your wages and life style has been determined for you. The sad part of this is that you think that you have really done something special by getting that good paying job.
In essence you have. Please do not get me wrong or be offended by my past remarks, but when you look at it in retrospect if you put as much effort into building your own as you put into building someone else’s, imagine how much different your life would be.
I am encouraging everyone that reads this article to step out on faith and to do something different for yourself, and your families. I am “Paying This Forward” to you and in sincere hope, that you pay it this forward to someone you know by telling others about this concept.
We the independent business people are the true economic stimulus package. The one time payment the Government is offering is a joke compared to receiving your stimulus money by being independent. This is just something to think about!
